We are a western European mining and power generating consultancy company with projects in all five continents. Our projects cover the complete mine and power plant life cycle from opportunity studies through operations to mine and power plant closure and site rehabilitation.
We are now looking for a local agent to help us build up our mining and power plant consulting business in Russia and other CIS countries.
The ideal candidate would be an experienced engineer with mining or power industry background who is demonstrably well introduced to senior management of companies in the fields of mining or power generation. Fluency in German and/or English will be essential.
Your tasks would be:
• Pro-active identification of mining and power plant projects
• Introduction to prospective clients
• Providing us with information on the market, activities of other market players, and legal and tax conditions in Russia and the CIS
• Technical and organisational assistance
• Assistance in preparing prequalifications and proposals
• Identification of suitable local subconsultants
• Support of negotiations with perspective partners
Your remuneration would be a success-based commission on consulting projects plus reimbursement of approved travel and other expenses.
